MADISON, Wis. - SouthPoint Federal Credit Union (SPFCU) in Sleepy Eye was one of five credit unions named as the winners in the seventh annual CUNA Operations, Sales & Service (OpSS) Council's Best Practices Awards, which recognize innovative solutions optimizing credit union performance. The award winners were recognized during the council's 14th annual conference, which took place Sept. 25- 28, in San Antonio.
SouthPoint won in the Sales & Service Management category for its Service Points of Excellence Program that includes: Bi-weekly coaching sessions, and member and staff surveys.
"It has been a long initiative, but has shown tremendous results over the years, and it is wonderful to see SouthPoint recognized for the effort and the commitment we have made," said Dick Nesvold, CEO at SPFCU.
