As the Highlanders of the North Jack and Denise Lundquist of Watertown, S.D. play their bagpipes, hundreds of motorcycle riders begin the KMS Memorial Ride Saturday morning in downtown Franklin. The ride honors and supports the memories of Army SFC Matthew Kahler, Sgt. Brent Koch, Kyle Miller and Joshua Schmit Spc James Wertish and Pfc Ryane G. Clark, provides scholarships and more. The ride route included Bird Island, Lake Lillian, Diamond and Green Lakes, New London, Spicer, Raymond, Clara City, Granite Falls, Sacred Heart, Renville, Danube, Olivia and Morton before returning to Franklin.
