To the editor:
Thanks are in order to the New Ulm Public Utilities Commission for "following the facts" on the Boiler No. 4 issue. There is natural tendency to "prove yourself right" regardless of the facts, especially when when faced with vocal opposition.
It's encouraging to see a city entity, the PUC, actually change course based upon evaluation of current conditions rather than plough ahead demonstrating their ironclad authority.
