NEW ULM - Two New Ulm Medical Center (NUMC) obstetrical nurses have achieved specialty certification.
Kitty Rolloff, RN, and Marti Uhde, RN, earned their certifications in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing from the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties. They participated in a preparation course and exam to obtain certification. In addition to the course and exam, the nurses were required to have 24 months of specialty experience as a registered nurse, comprised of 2,000 hours.
