FAIRFAX - Springfield defeated New Ulm and Minnesota Valley Lutheran Thursday in a boys golf meet.

New Ulm's Kelton Schmitz was the medalist with a 40.

Cody Wersal led Springfield shooting a 42, Ben Molstad shot the best on the day for MVL with a 46.

Springfield (171): Cody Wersal 42, Dillon Schultz 43, Parker Kretsch 43, Christopher Kretsch 43.

New Ulm (178): Kelton Schmitz 40, Jonah Cooper 45, Nick Gutknecht 45, Matt Saffert 48.

FAIRFAX - Springfield defeated New Ulm and Minnesota Valley Lutheran Thursday in a girls golf meet.

Springfield was led by medalist Tiana Runck who shot a 45 on the day. New Ulm was led by Miranda McKeeth who shot a 48 and MVL was led by Jessica Albrecht with a 55.

New Ulm (221): Miranda McKeeth 48, Leah Wilfahrt 49, Corrine McKeeth 58, Hope Capp 57.

CM boys 162, GFW 166, Wabasso 216

SANBORN - Cedar Mountain/Comfrey defeated Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop and Wabasso Thursday in a Tomahawk Conference boys golf meet,

Zak Pendleton led CMC shooting a 37, Logan Van Hon was medalist of the meet, leading GFW with a 35, and Drew Baune led Wabasso with a 49.

CMC (162): Zak Pendleton 37, Mike Welch 38, Trevor Srbus 43, Zac Kerkhoff 44.

GFW (166): Logan Van Hon 35, Aaron Radtke 38, Jordan Albrecht 46, Logan Miller 47.

Wabasso (216): Drew Baune 49, Connor Huhnerkoch 50, Marcus Bruflat 54, Dylan Bock 63.

Briana Jenniges was co-medalist for Wabasso, shooting a 47, Ana de Partearroya was also co-medalist leading GFW with a 47, and Laura Fox led CMC with a 48.
