of Melissa Tietl as the FT Personnel Director at
the annual salary of $50,135.00 (Grade XVII, Step

appointment of Joshua Steinbrecher as an
Assistant Brown County Attorney on an unpaid

October 2010 Budget Report (Cash Basis and
Unaudited) which reflects activity at 83.3%
of the budget year as follows: expenditures
of $22,747,523.32 or 80.0%, and revenues of
$19,248,720.82 or 69.0%; and the October
2010 Supplemental Budgets Report noting
expenditures of $1,078,602.41 or 58.1%, and
revenues of $1,127,824.66 or 60.4% of annual
budgeted activity, carried.

Assistance Plan for Brown County Heartland
Express to provide public transit services without
discrimination to all persons, including those who
are not proficient in speaking English, carried.

631.425 Subd. 5(1) an increase in the Huber work
release fee from $20/day to $22/day effective
1-1-11, and an increase in the out of county
sentenced Huber fee from $40/day to $44/day

of Family Services Administrative claims in the
amount of $112,736.70, carried.
Chairman Seeboth convened a Closed
Session to consider Social Services Payments,
whereupon M/Lochner, S/Seeboth, to authorize
the payment of Social Services payments in the
amount of $189,262.35, carried. The Closed
Session ended at 11:00 AM.
M/Lochner, S/Berg, to renew the Contract
with Presentation College to provide clinical
experience for nursing students in Public Health
for the 2010-2011 academic year, carried.
M/Berg, S/Lochner, to accept and file the
following Public Health Update: The Public Health
Standards; School Based Influenza Vaccine Clinic
Update; Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Campaign;
Lead Testing Campaign; Staff Changes; Adult
and Adolescent Immunization Campaign; and
Employee Worksite Wellness Survey, carried.
M/Lochner, S/Potter, to approve the
Memorandum of Understanding between Brown
County and Law Enforcement Labor Services,
Inc., Local No. 98 pertaining to the 10-hour shift
schedule for Dispatchers, carried.

and filed.
Berg reported on the Enterprise North meeting
on 11-15-10; and with Lochner on the Building
Committee review of the Lake Hanska County
Park residence and on the MVAC meeting on 11-
15-10; Lochner reported on Detox, SCHA, and
with Potter on the Clean Water Partnership; and
Potter reported on the Minnesota River Board
and RCRCA.
Calendars were coordinated for the next two
week period.
