MANKATO - The New Ulm girls soccer team defeated Mankato Loyola 6-0 Friday at the Mankato Loyola Classic.
Peyton Lewis scored the first goal and Carly Manderfeld also scored a goal. Kylie Waltermann and Monica Illikman scored two goals for the Eagles.
Aimee Abrahamson had three saves and Shelby Smith had two saves. New Ulm (1-0) plays Plainview-Elgin-Millville at noon today and Mankato West at 4 p.m.
