Big game for Marz

MORGAN - Tyler Marz had 40 points Friday night to lead Springfield to victory over Cedar Mountain/Comfrey 96-79 in Tomahawk Conference boys basketball action.

Jordan Milbrath had 24 points and Alex Fink added 12 points for the Tigers.

The Cougars had five players in double digits. Nate Golden had 25 points, three blocks, and three steals, Dalton Kleinschmidt had 15 points and 12 rebounds, Zak Pendleton had 13 points, Tanner Kokesch and Austin Koupal had 12 points each.

Springfield is now 12-1 overall and 8-1) in the conference.

CM/C (9-4, 7-3) will play at Minnesota Valley Lutheran tonight and Springfield will host Grenada-Huntley-East Chain Monday night.
