GIBBON - Linda Hillmann, 55, of Gibbon, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at the Hospice House Birchwood in Hutchinson.

Funeral service will be11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 18 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Moltke Township, Sibley County with Pastor David Radtke and Pastor Harold Storm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from4 - 8p.m. at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Friday.

Linda is survived by her parents, Harold and Irene Luehring of Gibbon;children, Becky Stocker and her husband, Chadof Lakeville, Shelly Hillmann of St.Cloud, Ryan Hillmann of Gibbon, April Hillmann of Mankato; granddaughter, Adelayde "Addy" Stocker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Myron Schwarzrock of Gibbon, Joan and Bryan Sommer of Fairfax.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Dena Kiecker, John and Emma Luehring;nieces, Hailey Sommer, Heide Schwarzrock; brother-in-law, Allan Hillmann; sister-in-law, Kathy Hillmann-Pavick.

Linda Renee Luehring was born on June 30, 1954 in New Ulm to Harold and Irene (Kiecker) Luehring. She graduated from Gibbon High School in 1972 and then attended the Hutchinson Vo-Tech. She was married and blessed with four children.Linda hadenjoyed a variety of work including Hands, Inc. and Schweiss Bi-Fold Doors and caring for children. Sheexcelled at homemaking and motherhood. She loved her children like no one else could and brought them to church. She alsoenjoyed participating in women's bowling and softball leagues. Linda was diagnosed twenty years ago with abenignbrain tumor. She dealt with her illness with patience and grace.

She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. Linda was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church,a member of the choir and L.W.M.L. at church, and had been thetreasurer at churchandMoltke Township Treasurer for six years.She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
