NEW ULM - More than 600 runners and walkers competed in The Heart of New Ulm's Jingle Bell Jam Saturday
The four-mile run/walk began and ended at the New Ulm Medical Center.
Quincy Schmidt, 18, of Hutchinson was the overall winner, running four miles in 24:14.2.

His high school cross country teammate Evan Borscheid, 17, was second in 25:13.2.
John Maas, 48, of Sleepy Eye, was third in 25:22.2. Following were Mitchell Messner, 16, Hutchinson, 26:12 and Duane Oftedahl, 28, New Ulm.
Ashley Ehrich 23, Lincoln, Neb. was the womens overall winner in 27:41.1. Following were Rachel More, 34, St. Peter, 27:47.6; Emily Thompson, St. Peter, 29:07.4; Gloria Alfstad, 37, St. Peter, 29:42.5; and Kari Miest, 34, St. James, 30:23.1.
Male age group winners were Schmidt, Oftedahl, Chawn Cox, 36, Mankato, 26:32.2; Maas; Fritz Busch, 53, Sleepy Eye, 31:21; and Anthony Hoffmann, 60, Sleepy Eye, 39:28.7.
Oldest runner honors were shared Paul Broste and Dennis Frederickson, both 70, and both of New Ulm.
Female age group winners were Lydia Balge, 17, New Ulm, 34:54.2; Ehrich; More, Heidi Kuelbs, 47, Sleepy Eye, 31:01.8; Mary Maas, 51, Sleepy Eye, 34:28.1; and Judy Dorn, New Ulm.
