GAYLORD - Sibley East's Marshall Bjorklund had 18 points, 19 rebounds, seven blocks, four steals and three assists as the Wolverines defeated Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Monday in nonconference boys basketball action.

Ian Berg finished with 12 points and McKoy Rodning scored 10 points for the Wolverines, who led 31-27 at halftime.

For GFW, Jay Rogotzke had 16 points and Alex Platz had 15 points.

Sibley East (2-0) hosts Watertown-Mayer Thursday in Gaylord while the Thunderbirds (0-1) are at Sleepy Eye tonight.
