REDWOOD FALLS - Alvina A. (Goblirsch) Baker, 94, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Bechyn, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at Seasons in Redwood Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 9, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be in Crestlawn Gardens, rural Redwood Falls.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.; and continues one hour before the service Wednesday at the church.

She is survived by sons, Bob Goblirsch of Belgrade, Gary Goblirsch of Redwood Falls, Dick Goblirsch of Deerwood, Daryl Goblirsch of Olivia; daughters, Ruth Sturgil of Alexandria, Virginia and Darlene Woods of Balmertown, Ontario; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ada Rohlik of the Twin Cities.

She was born Jan. 14, 1915, in Beaver Falls Township, Renville County, to Henry and Anna (Schauer) Ahrens.
