MONTICELLO - The New Ulm wrestling team dropped all five of its matches at the Monticello Tournament Saturday.

New Ulm fell to St. Francis 52-10, St. Cloud Apollo 54-12 and Orono 45-34. The Eagles also dropped matches to Annadale/Maple Lake 46-27 and North Branch 36-34.

Ethan Orr was the big winner for the Eagles as he went 4-1 on the day at 112. Luke Schmit (140), Sam Sletta (152), Jamie Gieseke (160) and Jake Schmidt (215) all went 3-2. Ryan Hoffmann (125) and Luke Derksen (135) and Connor Rouse (103) went 2-3.

New Ulm wrestles against Hutchinson and Scott West at a quad at Mankato East Friday.
