NEW ULM - Lucille (Rueckert) Stangler, 82, of New Ulm, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm,with Pastor Timothy Smith officiating.Burial will follow in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of the service at the church on Saturday.

Lucille is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Judith and Edwin Isackson of New Ulm, Patricia Thompson of Byron, Tamara Olson of Kasson; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Sandy Rueckert of Sleepy Eye, Terry Rueckert of St. Cloud, Steve and Rachel Rueckert of Elk River; grandchildren, Jody, Kelly, Christopher, Matthew, Clair, Joshua, Bailey, Miranda, Cassandra, Mason and Corey; great grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Emma, Madelyn, Sydney, and Isaiah; sister-in-law, Lou Ann Husefeldt of Forest Lake and by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Elsert Dettmann; second husband, Art Rueckert; third husband, Lawrence Stangler; granddaughter, Jacqueline Lucille Olson; brother, Vernon Husefeldt; sister, Doreen Streich.
Lucille Clara Husefeldt was born on May 16, 1927 to Louis and Clara (Grefe) in St. Louis Park. Lucille loved family gatherings during the holidays, spending time with her children, grandchildren andgreat grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends at Sunset Apartments.
Lucille was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
