Arlington - Germaine Hahn, 90, of Arlington and formerly of New Ulm, died Monday, November 16, 2009, at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center in Arlington.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington with burial in the Gaylord Catholic Cemetery. Father Jerry Paulson will celebrate the Mass.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of Mass at church on Wednesday.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.

Germaine is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Larry Heibel of Arlington, Kathy and Russ Domeier of New Ulm; a son, David Hahn of Oakland, California; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Hahn on April 16, 1983; a son, Thomas Hahn on October 22, 1966; two sisters; and two brothers.

Germaine Katherine Ramsbacher was born January 8, 1919 in Springfield to Leo and Elizabeth (Baldus) Ramsbacher. She was united in marriage to Virgil Hahn on October 22, 1942 at the St. Mathias Catholic Church in Wanda. After marriage they lived in Clements, Lamberton, Gaylord and New Ulm. She was employed at Madsen's Bakery in New Ulm until her retirement. Germaine enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidering and playing cards.

She was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm and the Christian Mothers Society.
