SPRINGFIELD - Neva Tomschin, 85, of Springfield, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Springfield Medical Center Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey with burial at the Springfield City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Neva Madora Tomschin was born July 17, 1924, in Jackson County, Minn., to Emil and Caroline (Lidtke) Horkey.

She is survived by sons- Roger Tomschin of Ravenna, OH, Duane Tomschin of Springfield and Kevin Tomschin of Springfield; daughter, Janis Suess of Sioux Falls, S.D.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and sister, Betty Whiteford of Windom.
