New Ulm City Council meets tonight
NEW ULM - A public hearing on the Parks and Recreation Department's plan to establish primitive camping areas in Riverside and Minnecon parks is a top item on the New Ulm City Council's agenda tonight.
The council will be meeting in the New Ulm City Hall council chambers, starting at 7 p.m.
The ordinance establishing an Art and Collections Advisory Board for providing oversight of the city's artifacts is up for its second reading and adoption.
Two ordinance amendments will receive their first reading tonight. One would permit theater operators to sell wine. The amendment pertains exclusively to live performances. The other sets the city's fee schedule for 2010.
In addition, councilors will decide whether to approve the application of Dale Bushard for a Conditional Use Permit for a storage building at 1910 S. Valley St., and Eric Bode's request for a simple lot division at 926 N. Jefferson St.
