MANKATO -The Martin Luther College volleyball team defeated Bethany Lutheran College 21-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 15-12 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference action Wednesday.

Emily Boldt led the Knights with 14 kills and Carrie Fritzler had 13 kills. Jaime Eternick had 12 kills and Amanda Burk added nine kills. Fritzler also had 11 block assists and two solo blocks and Boldt had five block assists. Renee Peters had 33 digs and Brianne Jeffers had 27 set assists.

MLC (12-16, 5-7 in UMAC) hosts UM-Morris Friday.
