SLEEPY EYE - Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop swept Sleepy Eye St. Mary's 25-15, 25-21, 25-14 in Tomahawk Confrence play Tuesday in Sleepy Eye.

Cheyenne Briese had 10 kills, 14 digs, and was 11-for-13 serving with two aces for the Thunderbirds. Lexi Platz had 15 kills, Stephanie Howe had 33 set assists, and Kayla Shuette was 13-for-13 serving with three aces for GFW.

For St. Mary's, Neah Helget had four aces and ten digs, and Nevada Helget had 19 set assists. Kahley Pelzel had 10 digs.

GFW (15-3, 6-0) plays at Cedar Mountain/Comfrey Thursday. St. Mary's (4-7, 3-4) plays in the St. Clair Tourney on Saturday.

HECTOR - Buffalo Lake-Hector swept Cedar Mountain/Comfrey 25-23, 25-22, 25-19 in Tomahawk Confrence play Tuesday in Hector.

Michaela Wolff was 13-for-13 serving with 14 set assists for the Mustangs. Karlee Ilgen was 8-for-8 serving with 16 kills and three set assists. Nicole Horstman had six kills.

For CMC, Beth Ochs had 21 set assists, five kills and six digs. Kayla Mathiowetz had 10 digs, three blocks and six kills, Nicole Kerkhoff had 19 digs, three blocks and 17 kills for the Cougars.

BLH next plays at Lester Prairie on Monday. CM/C hosts GFW on Thursday.

SLEEPY EYE - Wabasso defeated Sleepy Eye 17-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-17 in Tomahawk Confrence volleyball Tuesday in Sleepy Eye.

Sydney Remus had 15 digs and five kills for the Indians, Carissa Hillmer had 21 set assists and seven digs. Melissa Falk had 16 digs and Erica Jensen had eight kills and eight digs for Sleepy Eye.

Sleepy Eye (1-13-2, 0-6) hosts Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Thursday.
