SLEEPY EYE - Schmitz Real Estate of Sleepy Eye has added Deb Fischer to its staff as a newly licensed real estate agent serving the Sleepy Eye, New Ulm, Hanska and Springfield communities. She will be assisting customers with buying and selling residential, commercial, recreational and agriculture real estate.

She will continue working at her current job as an administration operations assistant at Americana Community Bank in Sleepy Eye.

Fischer has 22 years experience in the interior decorating and sales and marketing field and nine years experience in business administration. She is an active volunteer in her community.She was one of the lead organizers for the local Kids Against Hunger International organization. She sings in the St. Mary's Church choir and performs music at community events in the Black Diamonds country band. She has served as an adult leader with Brown County 4-H. She promotes the dairy industry through her involvement with the American Dairy Association Board and serves as a coordinator for the Brown County ADA Dairy Princess program.
