SANBORN - Gordon Panitzke, 73 of rural Sanborn, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at his home.
Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton with burial at the Sanborn City Cemetery.
Friends may call on the family Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Military honors will be conducted by Colburn American Legion Post 286.
Gordon Reinhart Panitzke was born November 6, 1935, in Redwood County, MN to Reinhart and Violet (Sorensen) Panitzke..
He served in the U.S. Air Force
He is survived by his wife Mae (Stern) of Sanborn; daughters, Terri Werner of Mankato, Donna Simmons of Laurel Hill, FL, and Gayla Murphy of Crestview, FL; brothers- Virgil of Aitkin, and Jerry of Springfield; sisters, Margie Wellner of Lamberton, and Dorothy Reiner of Miltona; and mother Violet Panitzke of Lamberton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
