MINNEAPOLIS - The Martin Luther College men's golf team finished second at the Northwestern Invitational Wednesday.

Bethany Lutheran College won the meet with a score of 303. MLC shot a 313 and North Central was third with a 318.

The meet medalist was Bethany's Joseph Baer with a 72, Gatieak Gew of Crown was second with a 74.

The Knights were led by Isaac Crass with a 76. Sam Panning shot a 77, followed by Ethan Wessel (79), Joe Biebert (81) and Jacob Haag (88).

The MLC women finished third with a 433. Northwestern was the champion with a 415 followed by Minnesota-Morris with a 415.

Bethany's Abbie Lecy was the meet medalist with a 90. MLC's Mykayla Jensen finished second with a 91.

Rounding out the Knights' scores were Kelsey Steffens with a 108, Amanda Selle shot a 115 and Michelle DeGroot finished had a 119.
