NEW ULM - The New Ulm City Council will be asked tonight to approve the issuance of liquor and amusement licenses, beginning May 1 and ending June 30, for Pub and Patio, Inc., Darryl Weigel's new establishment in the building that previously housed Trips Bar.
Councilors also will be asked to approve a Lawful Gambling Premises Permit for Hanska Baseball Association of Hanska to conduct lawful gambling at the Pub & Patio at 225 N. Minnesota St., New Ulm.
Amendments to the ordinance relative to hydronic furnaces will be up for first reading and possible comments.
The council is being asked to set the date of Tuesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. for a public hearing on the 2009 Surface Reconstruction Project by the city's Street Department.
The setting of the date of Thursday, May 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the City Hall council chambers is requested for a concurrent public hearing/public information workshop on the Draft State Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for proposed airport improvements.
The city's annual public information meeting on its Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program will be held in the City Hall council chambers, starting at 6 p.m., immediately preceding the council's regular meeting at 7 p.m.
