Sleepy Eye High School was closed Wednesday morning following an early morning break-in and fire.
Firefighters answered a 2:45 a.m. call with two pumper trucks, according to Sleepy Eye Fire Chief Tom Moldaschel.
"There was smoke in the building but sprinklers went off and controlled the fire that appeared to come from a basement locker room," Moldaschel said. "We pumped about 100 gallons of water into the building."
