Farm-City Hub Club Banquet postponed, rescheduled Jan. 26

NEW ULM - The Farm-City Hub Club is postponing its annual meeting and banquet to Monday, Jan. 26, due to a conflict. The event will be held as planned at the New Ulm Country Club with a social hour at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.

Perry Meyer of New Ulm will be recognized as the 2009 Service to Agriculture Winner.

Meyer serves as the chairman of the board at Heartland Corn Products in Winthrop. He is an active member of the Nicollet County Corn Growers and the Minnesota Corn Growers Association, as well as the Nicollet County Pork Producers. He serves on the NU Telecom Board. Meyer raises hogs, corn, and soybeans on his farm north of New Ulm
