\NEW ULM - County officials are scheduled to hear an update on an interstate power project that could come through part of Brown County if it materializes.
Representatives of Great River Energy's CapX2020 project are scheduled to give commissioners an update on that project, which seeks to run a series of high-voltage electric transmission lines through a part of northwestern Brown County.
The project would run those lines from a power station in South Dakota to customers in Minnesota if materializes.
The update is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. No vote is scheduled.
