William “Bill” Birkemeyer

SLEEPY EYE - William "Bill" Birkemeyer, 75, of rural Sleepy Eye, died on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at his home.

Service is 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Burial will be in Home Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday and contues 9-10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of Sleepy Eye; children, Steven of Minnesota Lake, Vicky Hacker of Sleepy Eye, Timothy of Morgan; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Agnes Mielke of Morgan, Hank of Comfrey and Mary Ann Koski of Princeton.

William "Bill" Birkemeyer was born on Jan. 14, 1933, in rural Sleepy Eye to Matt and Anita (Christensen) Birkemeyer.
