Lucille Martius

SPRINGFIELD - Lucille Martius, 86 of Springfield, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield, with burial at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Lucille Friederica Martha Martius was born July 24, 1922, to Hugo and Martha (Schmidt) Kranz in Brookville Township.

She is survived by daughter, JoAnn Junker of Comfrey; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Moll of Apache Junction, Ariz.
