COMFREY - Wilbert Eischen, 80, of Comfrey, died on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Comfrey. The clergy will be Father Andy Michels. Interment will be at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:30-8 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday from 7:30 to 10 .m. at the Sturm Funeral Home in Comfrey, MN. There will be a Parish Prayer Service on Monday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Comfrey.

Wilbert (Billy) Edward Eischen was born July 27, 1928 to Michael and Margaret (Schons) Eischen in Mulligan Township. Billy attended St. Paul's Catholic School. At age 13 he stayed home to farm.
On Nov. 22, 1955 he married Evelyn Windschitl at the Church of Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth. Billy was a member of St. Paul's Church and St. Paul's Society in Comfrey. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, going to the lake, farming and having ice cream with his granddaughters.
Wilbert passed away peacefully with family present at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; sons, Glen, Mike and David (Nancy) all of Comfrey; granddaughters, Amanda and Amber; step-grandson Brandon (Angela) Leen; sister, Betty (Roman) Zwaschka of Comfrey; sisters-in-law, Lorrie and Lucille; step-great grandchildren, Chandler, Ava and Sam Leen; and many nieces and nephews. Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, AJ, Alvin and Bernard, and sisters, Marcella, MaryAnn and Donna.
