More than 50 Sleepy Eye High School cast and crew members have been busy rehearsing over the summer in preparation for the 1939 American musical-fantasy film "The Wizard of Oz."

The production is the MGM movie version of the story based on the 1900 children's novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L. Frank Baum.

The production's signature song "Over the Rainbow," sung by Judy Garland, was voted the greatest movie song of all time by the American Film Institute.
