Ardella Aspelund

ST. JAMES -Ardella Aspelund, 73, of rural St. James, died on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 at the St. James Medical Center in St. James.

Funeral services will be 2 pm, Wednesday, Sept, 3, at Albion Lutheran Church in rural St. James. Burial will be at the Albion Lutheran Cemetery

Visitation will be at the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday one hour before the services.

Ardella Jean Bjorklund was born Dec. 12, 1934, to Edmund and Anna (Larson) Bjorklund on her parents farm in Nicollet County.

She is survived by her son, Ronald of Hanska; daughters Kim Petterson of Brandon, S.D., Patti Nommensen of St. James; five grandchildren; sisters, Louise Rodning of Nicollet, Eunice Hildebrandt of Ham Lake; brothers Willard Bjorklund of St. Peter, Harold Bjorklund of Lolo, MT, and Gordon Bjorklund of Gaylord.
