NEW ULM - Brenda Zitzman, fonner New Ulm resident and 1996 Cathedral High School graduate, will be returning to Minnesota for a concert in her hometown of New Ulm. Zitzman is a member of the Nashville-based, all-girl country band. Mustang Sally. Mustang Sally is a group of five extremely talented women performing as one hard-hitting, energetic and electrifying band.
Zitzman's homecoming concert is Saturday, August 30 at George's Ballroom in New Ulm. Tickets are $10 at the door with the show starting at 7:30 pm.
Zitzman moved to Nashville after high school to attend the prestigious music college, Belmont University. She graduated from Belmont in 2000, earning a degree in commercial music. Over the years, Zitzman has had the opportunity to play many high-profile dates, including opening for Big and Rich, Montgomery Gentry, Neal McCoy, .38 Special, Dierks Bentley, Trisha Yearwood, Miranda Lambert and others.
