Wendy Marie Shol

FERGUS FALLS - Wendy Marie Shol, of Fergus Falls, MN, formerly Wendy Schnobrichof New Ulm, was called home to God on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at the New Ulm Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Wendy was born on January 5, 1953, to Sedonia (Teicher) Schnobrich and the late Eldor George Schnobrich, Sr.in New Ulm. She attended New Ulm Public High School, graduating in 1971. She graduated from Fergus Falls Community College as an LPN in 1974

She is survived by three sons, Ryan of Fergus Falls, MN, Craig of Fargo, ND and Derek of Underwood, MN; mother, Sedonia Schnobrich of New Ulm; two brothers, Eldor George Schnobrich, Jr. of New Ulm, Gayln (Cindy) Schnobrich of Lafayette, MN; five sisters, Patricia Babb of Omaha, NE, Marilyn (Tom) Engfer of Pequot Lakes, MN, Mary Riebel of White Bear Lake, MN, Faye (Mike) Connery of Verona, WI and Carol (Mike) Moldan of Sleepy Eye, MN and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wendy was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Wayne; her father, Eldor; a brother, Lauren; and a brother-in-law, David Babb.

Wendy was employed most recently at Sleepy Eye Care Center and for many years cared for the elderly.

She enjoyed spending time with her sons and family, dancing and listening to old time polkamusic and baking for her family and charities.

A private service and burial will be at Stavanger Cemetery in Underwood, MN.

Olsen Funeral Home of Fergus Falls, MN will be handling funeral arrangements.
