Kelly A. Baier

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. - Kelly A. Baier, 51 of Grand Island, and formerly of New Ulm, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at his home of cancer.

Services will be on Saturday, July 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Burial will be at the Grand Island City Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Kelly A. Baier was born on July 5, 1957, in Lancaster, Calif., to Darvon and Barbara (Flanagan) Baier.

He is survived by his wife Wendy Baier of Grand Island; sons, Travis Baier of Wood River and Jaron Baier of Grand Island; daughters, Shamlynn Berggren of Geneva and Kyrra Baier of Grand Island; two grandchildren; father Darvon of Bentonville, Ark.; mother Barbara Flanagan of York; brother, Brad of Rogers, Ark.; and sisters, JoAnna Johnson of Kearney and Staci Giedraitis of Tucson, Ariz.
