Warren "Kling" Lyngholm, age 77, of Fairfax, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008, at his home in Fairfax.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, at St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 -8 p.m., Monday, June 30, and 7:30- 8 a.m., Tuesday, at the Hauser-Hantge Chapel in Fairfax, and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church.

Warren Duane "Kling" Lyngholm was born on February 18, 1931, in Willmar, Minnesota. He was the adopted son of Edward and Lydia (Birkland) Lyngholm. Warren was baptized as an infant on February 23, 1931, at the Vinge Lutheran Church in Willmar and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth in June of 1946, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. He received his education in Willmar, Minnesota and was a graduate of the Willmar High School Class of 1949. Warren entered active military service in the United States Navy on July 22, 1949, and received an honorable discharge on July 21, 1950.
On February 3, 1951, Warren was united in marriage to Bernice Buerkle at St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with 3 children. Warren and Bernice resided in Fairfax. They shared 57 years of marriage.
Warren held employment at Buerkle Oil Company in Fairfax, and later worked for several construction companies. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax. Warren was also a member and past Commander of the Fairfax American Legion Post 205 and a member of the St. John Lutheran School Board.
Warren enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He also enjoyed bird watching and watching sports on television, especially the Minnesota Gophers. Warren cherished the time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Warren is survived by his wife, Bernice Lyngholm of Fairfax, MN; children, Thomas Lyngholm and his wife, Barbara of Apple Valley, MN, Peggy Lyngholm of Mankato, MN, Cynthia Ryhn of Coon Rapids, MN; grandchildren, Derick Lyngholm and his wife, Diana, Bethany Mackey and her husband, Douglas, Amanda Ryhn, Marc Ryhn, Matthew Ryhn; great-grandchildren, Reid Porlitzki and Brice Portlitzki.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lydia Lyngholm.
