Patrick “Pat” Brandel

LITTLE FALLS — Patrick “Pat” Brandel, 55, of Little Falls and formerly of New Ulm, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the St. Cloud VA Hospital in St. Cloud.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 12 at the St. George Catholic Church in St. George, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the time of the service at the church on Monday.  Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.

Patrick is survived by sisters; Dorothy Byer of New Ulm, Alice Hauser of New Ulm, Cathy Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, Anne Vieira of Marysville, California, Rose Kimel of Fremont, California, Mary Kimel of Atwater; brothers; Paul Brandel of New Ulm, Anthony Brandel of New Ulm, John Brandel of Maplewood, Henry Brandel of Atwater and Leo Brandel of Las Vegas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Francis Brandel.

Patrick Norman Brandel was born on April 22, 1953 to Henry and Anna (Preisinger) Brandel in New Ulm.  He attended and graduated from New Ulm High School.  He entered the United States Army and was medically discharged.
