Vicky Berg Peters

PINE ISLAND – Vicky Laverna Berg Peters, 45, of Pine Island, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at her home.

A memorial service is 2 p.m. Monday at Dale Lutheran Church, Cherry Grove Township, Goodhue County.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors by the Wanamingo Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation is 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Mahn Family Funeral Homes – Larson Chapel in Zumbrota, and continues one hour before the service at the church.

Vicky Laverna Berg was born Oct. 13, 1962 to Robert and Marion (Ludewig) Berg in New Ulm.

Survivors include her husband Scott of Wanamingo; a daughter Tina Wilfahrt of Pine Island; a stepson Nick Peters of Goodhue, MN; her father Robert Berg, Jr. of New Ulm; a sister Jean Bourland of Dacono, CO; and three brothers Gary Berg, Randy Berg, and Kenneth Berg, all of New Ulm.
