Board to hear reports from Family Services
NEW ULM — Family Services is scheduled to share three different reports with Brown County commissioners this morning.
A state review of the county’s child protection and child welfare services will start the meeting, which convenes at 9 a.m. in the courthouse.
Annual reports from the Children’s Mental Health Advisory Committee and the county’s welfare collections worker are scheduled to follow.
The state review is made by the Minnesota Department of Human Services every five to seven years.
Later in the meeting, an update on septic loans available to county residents is expected. A request for a five-ton load posting on the Franklin Bridge, which is on CSAH 8 over the Minnesota River, is also on the agenda.
