BUFFALO LAKE — Marilyn Schafer, 73, of Buffalo Lake, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at her home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at the Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake.

Visitation will be Monday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake, and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Arrangements with the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector.

Marilyn Janet Schafer was born May 1, 1934, in Troy Township, Renville County, Minn., to Rudolph and Mabel (Kuglin) Prodoehl. 

  Marilyn is survived by her husband James Schafer of Buffalo Lake; children, Dawn Tessmer of Minneapolis, Robin Henderson of Granite Falls, Teal Schafer of Hector, Wren Feyereisen Chanhassen, and Spring Scocozza of New Palestine, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and brother Don Prodoehl of Faribault.
