Stealing at Soldiers rest

To the editor: When my Dad passed away 4 years ago, I thought it quite an honor that he would be laid to rest alongside fellow service members at Soldiers rest in New Ulm....

MCW is correct. Unless plants/displays are in a permanent fixture, they will be removed by a certain date. I believe the maintenance facility only keeps them so long, also. As with everything, there has to be regulations in regards to grounds upkeep.

Did you check with the cemetery caretaker? Plants and displays are to be removed by a certain date or they get removed by the caretaker. They generally keep them in their maintenance facility.
