Everybody just settle down.

Go home.

Fill up your bathtub.

Take a running start from the living room... and do a cannonball into the tub.

There are many advantages to this highly recommended alternative to jumping off a bridge:

1. It takes place in your own home so you won't be arrested.

2. You will not have to take off your shirt and reveal your pasty white, terribly out-of-shape, beer belly body, to half the known world via the Internet.

3. If you miss, your wife/girlfriend/partner/main squeeze can easily call an ambulance.

Makes sense to me.

Criminal charges -- for jumping into a body of water? I've never really understood things like this. I get that it's very, dangerous -- but criminal charges? Really? Is there anything that isn't illegal any more?

My thoughts exactly yunosmart. How exactly will jumping off a bridge help him? How many people worldwide are going to suffer injury or even death by attempting something to out-do the other facebook clowns? Send the boy's family a check if you really want to help....

Jumping into a lake or off of a bridge isn't going to help the boy. People are so stupid.
