Zorro, as far as Gitmo , you had the presidency ,house and senate the first 2 years of Obamas presidency ,you are so right ,must be somebody else's fault. Explain no action taken against anyone on Benghazi and IRS targeting. Next time people need to research the person they vote for. We put somebody as CEO of the US that never even ran a pop stand. Governors generally make better presidents. His resume should have been a red flag, Hillary at least could rely on the experience of her husband, we vote based on who is cool ,reflects sadly on us all. People need to look at candidates as if you were a business owner and you were hiring for a job, not who looks good on Jay Leno or the View. This goes for all political parties, the world is watching us and makes judgments based on who we hire as a nation. There are a lot better candidates on both sides, that we don't hire because they are not "popular" with the people. Who we hire reflects on us all and around the world.

Zorro, you are so right, I am sure our kids are thanking us for the 17 trillion in debt we gave them , I am now covered for dental care for my kids , if I get pregnant (male) ,my premiums are up ,we have to hitch a ride from Russia to get to the space station, the dollar is weak at best due to the fact the feds are printing money like they were Doritos, Russia laughs at us , Syria does what it wants, we knocked 5 million people off their current health policies and signed up 6 million at a trillion dollar cost, they are talking about removing the dollar as the reserve currency, your right , I feel so much better. Hope my kids figure out how to pay for our credit card.

Jr-the ukraine and russia have been fighting over that piece of land since the middle ages-it did not matter who was president in 1920-doesn't matter now. And if you think we should step in then answer this-should Russia have stepped in when we took this land from the native Americans?

deerhunt-ask binladen and gadhafi how toothless he is.-And if you did not like fast and furious then you must really hate reagan for iran/contra. Gitmo-obama has worked for 5 years to close it-congress has blocked him every time-And lets look at how he has done-here in MN my premiums stayed the same for the first time in 16 years(were all my premium increses prior to 2008 obamas fault too?), our housing market is back, our economy is one of the 5 fastest growing in the USA,unemployment is at below reagan era leveals, inflation and interest rates are low. So tell me again how bad things are?

Avoice-are you so lacking in character you cannot admit when you are wrong-you clearly stated that I had said something when I had not-you did not state that it was what you thought I believed. It is difficult to debate someone so lacking in honor and charachter-perhaps you need to grow up and learn that when you are wrong you admit it. You don't add another lie to it.

Zorro , glad you brought Obama up. Let's see ,toothless, Red Line in Syria, Fast and Furious ,IRS targeting ,closing Gitmo, Benghazi , these were all things he was going to take care of, haven't seen much progress. Let's throw in keeping your doctor , rollout of Obamacare, cheaper health insurance premiums, lower taxes , more jobs , the dollar dropping in value ,17 trillion dollars in debt and climbing . He did get a Nobel Peace Prize for all his hard work, made my health insurance premiums go up and increased my deductible , toothless , not a chance - incompetent is probably the correct word. At least he locked up the guy that made the anti- Muslim video, would hate to have any more bad movies out there.

Simple question - Would this Putin spawned aggression be happening if Reagan were in office right now ?

I say "no".

If you disagree state why you believe it wouldn't make any difference.

deer-I am not going to determine foriegn policy- I don't have all the facts to do so-and neither do you-if you are such an expert on this'run for office and share your expertice with the world. But simply sitting on the sidelines consistantly saying "Obama bad" is useless. This situation is far from over-so far not one american has lost their life in this situation-too bad we cannot say the same about GOP foreign policy. We did not intervene when the red army took the ukraine/crimea in 1920-why does it seem like a good idea to you now?

Zorro, over the past year, the Russians have sent many ships and long range bombers to various countries in Latin America - namely Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua with Russia's Defense Ministry planning bases in those countries. Russia's Security Team is discussing military ties to those countries. Iran has established 11 additional embassies in Latin America. China has had joint military exercises in Latin American countries. Meanwhile you praise President Obama's NCAA bracket selections and his sanctions of taking away their Disneyland passes. You go to war to win peace and democracy and all we have per this president is a disgraceful withdrawal with no peace or democracy. JMHO.

Zorro , I have never said to go to war with Russia. Sanctions should have been widespread and immediate .The missile defense system in Europe never should have been abandoned ,should be fast tracked immediately. The U.N should be invoking sanctions and have been putting forces in Crimea, with directions to hold the area they are in, without violence unless fired upon. The U.N. should pull Russia's seat at the U.N. until they remove their troops. If we are not willing to do these steps than Obama should quit even talking about it because than we don't consider it that important. His comments and sanctions are making us look weaker than doing nothing.

OK , for those of you disagreeing with me , what is the Democrats(Obama's) ideas, Putin is rolling all over us , actually laughing at us(literally ). The United Nations is toothless , the European nations are dependent on oil from Russia. I guess your idea is to just bury our heads in the sand and hope it all goes away. This is an exact replay from Hitler's book ,he sensed weakness and took advantage of it. I am not saying Putin will turn into another Hitler , but he will take over whatever he sees as belonging to Russia at will. Remember , Russia and China both have million man armies, we will have 450,000. Looks like we are going to take a back seat to these situations until they actually affect us. That's a dangerous game ,all of a sudden your opponent has grown into something so large you no longer have any power ,control or options. You can definitely see that Putin thinks Obama is a joke. What is Obama's next play , remember Bush is retired.

Deerhunt-what did bush do that showed strength if after we leave it just goes back to what it was? And he did nothing to remove the leaders-look at who got Bin Laden and ghadafi-so what should Obama do-send more americans to die in a country that has not attacked us?

I am curious - what is the Democrats solution to this problem? The Republicans haven't created the illusion of weakness abroad ,using Bush for your example - he was considered to have a hair trigger on the gun , wanting to unleash the forces on anyone. This weakness has started under Obama , he is the one who needs to fix it , the longer he portrays weakness the more situations like this will come up. I'm still waiting for him to close down Gitmo, I thought that was job # 1 when he took office in 2008.

no stomach for any confrontation anymore. The United Nations is considered weak at best. We should get the Missile defense system back on board in Europe immediately. When Obama removed it ,that was another sign of weakness on our part. Obama's threats 3 weeks before he imposes financial sanctions on Russia leaders was also a mistake. You don't tell them 3 weeks in advance of what you are going to do , I'm sure they had removed all money that was at risk in that time frame. We have been playing nice with Russia and they are taking it for weakness. Even with our stance on Iran they see us as weak ,Iran will have a nuclear weapon and we will have done nothing to stop it. War is not an easy decision ,but sometimes taking care of a problem early on makes it a lot easier than dealing with the mess later on , like Hitler .I am not for war ,but the downsizing of the military and trying to be friends with everyone will cost us later. We are being seen as becoming weak.
