March 16, 2014

Apparently neither Attorney General Eric Holder nor his boss, President Barack Obama, are familiar with the concept of sending mixed messages....

Wow Journal, you need to reach a little further if you are going to clasp those straws. Since we can't use the "H" word on here (what are we all children or something ?) I will point this out to you. Marijuana is not an opiate nor is it addictive. Philip Seymour Hoffman didn't die from a marijuana overdose. And, at the same time opiates generally aren't being used to treat seizures like derivatives of marijuana have.

Perhaps you should give your readers a little more credit than you have and consider they can easily distinguish between these two substances. You do realize they are completely different classes of drugs ? More importantly you should let our government treat them differently based on their classifications and let them set policy based on real world analysis of potential benefits & dangers.

To equate the use of marijuana and ****** is stupid-they are 2 completely different drugs each with their own separate problems. And if you want to look at mixed messages we need look no further than the 2 most dagerous drugs of all-alcohol and tobacco. But to call Obama out on the topic of ****** vs marihana is flat out stupid.

And it's ridiculous that the drug that begins with H is a banned word.

Mixed messages from Washington? This isn't news. Obama stood for nothing before 2008 (look at his voting record, he was "present" 90% of the time, no yea or naes from his mouth). The guy is a puppet at best with strings tangled in a knot.
