Why would they smash cars with gas and oil still in them. Seems like they are trying to save money. I notice this fall they had the vehicles tilted so the oil would run out of the engines. Gas and oil and sparks don't mix well and will explode seems like a no-brainer to me.Glad the got it figured out because the recycling center was there before those houses were built( It was a junk yard).

This compromise sounds reasonable, not an overreaction on the part of City Council, yet addresses the concerns brought by the neighbors. Glad to see local government work as it should to resolve issues with a common sense approach.
