When you have the likes of Israel and Saudi Arabia in agreement that this is a huge mistake you really need to take pause.

This move is nothing more than a page out of Bill Clinton's playbook and how he dealt with North Korea. I fear the final outcome will be the same as well. God help us all.

I am going to maintain cautious optimism and hope that any future agreements ensure that we “trust but verify” to borrow from Ronald Reagan. Any solution that keeps Iran from developing a nuclear weapon and keeps the U.S. out of another war in the Middle East is the way to go. As for Israel already seeing red over this and saying the Iranian’s cannot be trusted I would ask this. Was Israel trustworthy when they said they would stop building settlements in occupied territories and then continued to build them all along and still are? I think to rush towards even deeper sanctions prior the six month duration of this deal could lead to even more destabilization in the region. This could pull us right back into armed conflict if not all out war after we have finally extricated our troops from the area after being there for over a decade. I cannot imagine anyone even the Hawks such as Lindsey Graham (R-SC) want that eventuality.
