The last thing we need are public-private partnerships. Investors invest to make profits. When they control the highway infrastructure, they will have us all by the neck. Raise the gas tax a marginal amount and put 100% of that money towards highway maintenance and repairs. The gas tax does not keep up with inflation, and it does not take into account the increased MPG of newer vehicles.
