Energy companies have been ripping off consumers for years. More so the gas companies...but I wonder how that medicine tastes? But, in the end I have to side with the electrical company. Stealing is stealing.

It is also unlawful to add or alter the electrical wiring in any other occupancy other than the home in which you live in and own. He cannot legally work on the wiring in his place of business, largely due to the public safety aspect. The Minnesota Department of Labor should impose fines on them as well.
