Well, that's a healthy activity for the children now isn't it?

It's not disturbing. It is all in fun. It was an event sponsored by the local gym which is run by amazing people who are firm believers in a good diet and exercise but that you must also treat yourself once in a while. These kids had actually done the kids RUN prior to this event. It's no different than the corn eating contest. Next time come out to the events and see it all for yourself. It might take away your negative feedback. Run a 5k while you're at it also and enjoy an Oreo or two after that for your efforts.

I could never stop at two, especially if I had a tall glass of milk. I guess there is a reason why we don't buy many cookies.

Somehow, a carrot stick eating contest just wouldn't be the same.

I too find it disturbing... no milk for dunking ??? How could that be ??? The only way to eat an oroe is after a dunk in cold milk.

It is widely known that the only way to truly enjoy an oreo is only after it is sufficiently milk-soggied. I guess I'll need to participate next year to set a good example for our area youth.
