Senator Walz needs to open his eyes a little as to the reduction to the SNAP program. The Legislative Audit Office has readily admitted there are about 3.8 million adults that are on the program who are not eligible to receive benefits. They are not the sick, elderly, etc. but are people who sholud not be on the program. If he had read the biil, you would see the bill is dropping the 3.5 million people who would be judged ineligible. Why can't he4 see that? May be he is more concerned it will reduce the number of votes he would have bought by keeping those people in the program - might also have to give up their free welfare phone in the process.
