He will be a breath of fresh air. It will probably take him a year just to clean up all the messes of the last 10 years. Finally district 88 has an administrator that wants to be proactive rather than reactive. Everyone - students, staff, and the community would be best served if they have the patience to let him do his job rather than complaining and interfering.

The negative Nellie's are at it again...CHANGE BAD...give the guy a shot. Just think, it really can't be any worse than current situations. By the way, change haters: computers, electricity, indoor plumbing, all didn't work out so bad.

Wow. Aren't you three quite the welcoming bunch. Mr. Bertrang was very well respected in the GFW community as well as in the National Guard. How about biting your tongues until the man has a chance to prove himself.

I would not want someone to come in with a different agenda than what the community wants. Better to have the time to learn what the school wants and needs are.
